Looks like a textbook NYC lockdown to me.
Except for the saddle bag. That's weird. Hilarious, even.
It's not so much how it was locked down, just the fact that it was like BRAND SPANKIN' NEW. Just thought it was ridiculous that someone was offering up a free set of bars and shifters..
I've wondered about that. Do people gank shifters off locked up bikes? I always figured it'd be too much trouble undoing all the stem bolts, clipping all the cables. Now that I think about it, it's fucking easy. 3 minutes tops. If my road bike had STIs, now I don't think I'd ever ride it into the city again.
Downtube all the way! Nobody wants those.
