This is going to be a GREAT event for both racers and spectators who choose to root, enjoy a cold one and make some friendly wagers..
I'm planning on being there for this one to take some snaps and lose miserably..

Depending on racer turnout it will either be 2 or 3 racers competing at a time. This is not a drag race where you kick it from the gun, rather it is a match sprint where you stalk your opponent with the intention of surprising him/her with an explosive sprint or tricking them into a premature sprint and using their draft until you choose to pass them before the finish line. It will be tons of fun! We'll have a repercharge so everyone will get to sprint at least twice. The course is now a bit shorter, down from 800 meters to 700 meters. Racers will have holders and will hear a bell at 400 meters to go. I think this will be a great night for spectators as well. Tons of racing to watch and a great place to sip a cold one.
One thing I want to add which is awesome for spectators will be the 400m Chariot race. 6-8 riders depending on turnout race head to head for seeding..
